Ive found it more likely to happen with Tamiya white than gray. The Tamaya gray surface primer is the best I have ever used. I'm not. I've been building models for over 45 years, and Tamiya primers have become my favorite as far as spray can primers are concerned. with having said that i only use tamiya or other model type primers if i am using the airbrush to apply it otherwise i tend to use auto primers, general primer from walmart, flat black paint or flat white paint to prime projects. I now exclusively use Mr Surface 1500 thinned with leveling thinner with fantastic results. Somewhere in between risks the coats not playing nice with each other. DST ends.
